The sampler is worked on Black Zweigart #18 mono canvas with two shades of gray DMC floss and White DMC Perle Coton in sizes 8 and 12 with accents of SJ Designs' Heirloom beads #A121. Suggestions for other color combinations are offered in the book, including antique shades with ecru "lace" to be stitched on brown canvas.
Finished size is 7 by 19 inches.
